How to manufacture bullshit news from thin air! (Courtesy: TOI)

I was going through my Facebook feed when a piece of news by TOI (Times of India) caught my eyes. The title read – “Singapore PM’s plane returns to Delhi due to bad weather”.

I thought that this might be about some serious incident. Turns out a chartered flight having Singapore’s president travelling from Delhi to Udaipur had to return back due to bad weather and was later re-scheduled after a delay of few hours.

But that’s not how TOI reports any news.

After going through few random news articles on TOI, you’ll certainly find out their style of presenting any news; which is summarized in the following chart.
